Tommy Cowan and his planning team met with the faculty of McCallum High May 14th, to solicit their ideas for the upcoming 60th anniversary celebrations.

Ideas about activities for Homecoming with the student government alums, the alum band members attending a football game, the tennis club hosting a tennis tournament, were shared. Even the newer groups, like the video production group, enthusiastically joined in. Everyone was encouraging and supportive of the plan!

We were also able to announce to the assembly that $25,000 was successfully raised, thanks to our generous donors and community support, to fund the concert grand piano christened by Floyd Domino last month. The concert was recorded and is now being edited. It will be posted here when it’s ready. Please visit back to this site to watch it.
